Can't say I 'love' these shoes (required for 5 stars), but I certainly 'like' them (4 Stars). It's a very nice shoe for the price. I now own four or five pairs of Mezlan. They do have a 'break-in' period. This is a very classy, showy type of dress shoe with the patent leather, and with a pair of dark slacks, cords, or a tuxedo you can't go wrong with these - they're certainly different than the classic tuxedo oxford or balmoral. Recommend!
Updated 4/14/10: I chose to wear these instead of my more traditional patent leather balmorals to a black-tie event here in the San Diego area. Not only did I wear these with the tux, I also danced on wooden dance floor with these for considerable time. I was the recipient of a number of compliments on these that night.
